It’s a great idea, the app itself uses entirely too much bandwidth to be effective at busy times of the day

Every time I cast to my TV, if I leave the app for even a moment (especially if I pause it) the app gets killed in the background and I have to reopen it and reconnect it to my TV. PLEASE do something about this, it’s my only complaint.

4/16/2024: The app just stopped working. Drove home playing several tracks, left the house playing, skipped the track while driving away - PlexAmp is now down! Plex down as well. ONLY my music files. Permissions haven’t changed, tracks play on other apps- just Plex with greyed out Music & Playlists and PlexAmp just broken can’t find files. Can’t find anything on the internet to help

I just want to access servers. This app is not garbage on ps5. It errors out, forces you to fast forward to the end and it makes it impossible to go back. I’ve missed the last 20% of SO MANY THINGS

Very little movies have subtitles, if they do it’s because it’s not an English movie.

I’ve been a Plex user since it formed having converted over from XBMC. For the longest time Plex was one of my favorite apps. Now it have become so focused on nonsense I’ve deleted my long lived server in favor of Kodi. You artificially limit live TV sharing to “family”, removed support for strm files, and so on. Plex is Plex Inc. the name says it all. They’re a business not a friendly media center any more.

Plex is a great app but when there’s no internet it loads so slow and I could not stand it.

Video quality degrades to sub-SD every few minutes despite having really fast internet. Haven’t noticed w other “free” apps like tubi or Pluto.

Over & over & over again, WTH?? First of all those Corners popcorn chips are disgusting (lol) and the other commercial is for hand and stone. I mean, does nobody else wanna advertise on Plex? I saw the ratings and I can’t believe it because anybody than can tolerate this is better than me DELETING NOW!
