The books never open, it constantly freezes but I never have these issues on the Android app

Being unable to access my books without getting onto my laptop is a big inconvenience…. Much more likely to use Apple Books because I don’t want to have to chase down my purchases…

Read aloud no longer a choice in the menu. Voice Over takes over the whole phone instead of just reading me my book

Android version can do it

This is by far the worst app on the market for audio books. I can’t even browse my phone without the stupid thing pausing. And it pauses every time my phone screen locks which is pretty freaking frequent. Audiobooks are meant to be convenient. I couldn’t even use this on a road trip if I wanted to!

Using my iPad vs my android..it works great on my android phone, but extremely glitchy on my iPad. The current book I'm reading, It literally disappears when I turn a page and it won't come back. I had to delete the app and then reinstall it. But even then it eventually started glitching again. FIX THIS PLEASE..

This week the app stopped being able to download books from the library. For years I have used the app to read 19th century scanned books, but now impossible to continue. Help! Already deleted & restored app, still no luck.

Don’t Use Google Books anymore because it is extremely difficult to read and you need to pay for all of the books you want to read NO matter what you read in the app it’s not free to use it

The Android version is better.
