Great story about the word no and being mad ... But why include running away? Really?

Great story and fun to find the mouse.

So glad I found this book my kids love this story

I like it until little critter says he's gonna run away. But even that presents an opportunity to talk about other ways to deal with our angry feelings.

My daughter loves the little critter books. I wish there was a little more interaction but otherwise nice book.

I really didn't like the message this book portrays to young kids. We got it because we assumed it would have a good lesson at the end but instead the child decides he's gonna run away cause he's so mad and on his way out the door his friends stop by and ask if he wants to play at the park with them and his mom says yes... I think that it sends the wrong message first giving a kid the idea to run away and then he gets his way... Not what I want my kids to learn. However the neat thing about this book is that everything you touch it tells you what it is both aloud and writes it in big gold letters... So there you have it. Hope this helps someone decide.
