When I open my board, I want to see the pins I saved — not what the app thinks should be on there. Horrible new feature. I used to love Pinterest but the app is just turning into slop between all the ads and AI posts.

I’ve had Pinterest for at least thirteen years and I love it. Literally my favorite app. HOWEVER the recent updates and violations is extremely frustrating. I’ve had so many report violations and pins get banned that shouldn’t be banned at all. A picture of A literal flower field was flagged for adult content? And a picture of acrylic nails was flagged for child safety. Luckily I got those appealed but still annoying. And then when I try to see the pin in violations it’s blurry and hard to see so you don’t even know what exact guideline you broke or which pin it was. It would at least be helpful to show you what pin broke guidelines before trying to appeal it. Also the new update where when you open a board and it immediately takes you to the “ make it yours” section instead of your board is kind of annoying too it’s usually not anything to do with what I have pinned. I miss old Pinterest 💔

Way too many adds! Basically every other post is a random add or link to a website to buy something. This used to be a fun app to get ideas and suggestions from. Now 80% of the page is adds you don’t want to see and not anything relating to a specific search.

I really love Pinterest. I’ve been using it since I was a teenager, almost a decade now. I quit all other social media last year but kept Pinterest because it felt uplifting and like it still had a soul. Now, so much of my feed is ads, I’m start to feel depressed and manipulated the more I use it. I’m considering deleting the app because of it. Please stop with the ads…

There are waaaay too many ads making the app unusable. I get you need to monetize the platform, but having 6+ ads consecutively is crazy with barely any posts in the middle. The ad to post ratio is insane. Please equally distribute posts and ads to create a more balanced platform.

Pinterest consumer insights team and UI/UX team PLEASE do something about the amount of ads that pop up on our feeds. I wish I could add a screenshot, my feed is literally ALL ads. Ad after ad after ad. Pinterest was my favorite app that felt like getting away from the chaos of instagram and YouTube. Pinterest you’re becoming a sell out please fix this.

Why has this gotten out of control? I used to love this App. You try to “X” out but it forcefully takes you to the advertised site. It also covers so much of the recipes. I find myself goggling or saving videos from Instagram. Please make it stop!

i was trying to sign in but it said i wasn’t eligible… it’s so bad it’s not letting me sign in! my friend got to sign in but it didn’t let me.

My screen is genuinely like 50% adds when I’m on Pinterest, and a lot of these adds seem like scams or cheep junk. There’s also a lot more ai generated content which stinks.
