App requires personal information to get mortgage quotes.
  • Simply useless app

First you have to magnify it. Otherwise you cannot see anything. Second instead of keying amounts, you have to slide to the right or left. Almost impossible on ipad. I deleted the after 10 minutes.
  • Easy and convenient

I use it all the time but I just wish they had more features that you can edit, i.e.; custom edits for adding additional cost, like vacation rental fee tax, property management etc.

  • Great tool for estimating monthly payment

Would be good to add credit score, rates offered 30/15/5 year fixed. The insurance is off, should be linked to a general location of the house. Florida is quite different from the rest.

  • Used to have competitive rates

This app has become useless over the years. They used to give rates from a number of lenders that were competitive. Now, Zillow is the #1 lender suggested, with crappy rates, and the lenders they suggest typically have higher rates.
  • Unreliable and broken!

How is it that changing the yearly taxes, interest rate and cost of insurance have no effect on the monthly payment. Looks like your development team either didn’t finish the app and left these important contributors out of the calculation or you’re purposely trying to deceive people. Regardless, you need to fix your app. It’s unreliable and flat out broken!

I would like to ask a question as to why the Zestimate number, house value ranges, etc., shows changing numbers online before an appraisal is submitted? Why do these numbers fluctuate? Why do the numbers not remain the same until the house has been appraised and ready to close. Even if the appraiser doesn’t view this site. I believe anyone viewing the Zillow info chart online may believe that those numberm are accurate & reached by qualified licensed person?
  • Love it

I love this calculator- I only have one suggestion! Can we please not lump HOA fee and Property taxes into one payment within the calculation pie-diagram, it’s nice to see what makes up each payment - thank you!
