  • Flawless for Beginners or Restarters

    If you follow these routines exactly how they are drawn up for you, they will work 11/10 times. Even you you use to run a good bit, but fell off over the past few years, just stick to this 8 week program at first.. One issue I see with my friends is that they live in the past. They think that since they use to run 8 miles at a time in their 20’s, they can still do that after a 10 year break in their late 30’s.. they end up burning themselves out and quitting. This app really makes it enjoyable to get back to those 4-5 mile runs a few times a week. The great thing about this app is how you rate every run. So, if you think the run was too easy, the app automatically ups the entire program. If the run was perfect, it will stick to the program it originally wrote for you. If the run was too hard, it will soften the program it wrote for you. You also get a “personal trainer” for encouragement.. She doesn’t say a whole lot, but it seems she times her words of encouragement perfectly. Definitely worth a try

    My son and I are doing this together, he is a first time runner and I was a half marathon runner who stopped running and needed a way to get back into it. This is a great place for both of us to get started with! The workouts are challenging, a good time frame and fun!

    Definitely not a runner and also asthmatic...if I can do it anyone can do it. The best out there for beginners or advanced. Really thankful to have this...helps me to distress in the healthiest of ways without making me feel sick or exhausted.

    Came here after struggling with Runkeeper for a few months. This app doesn’t glitch and works smoothly. Also I appreciate the audio guide being very chill, doesn’t talk too much and just let’s you enjoy the music in your ears (or head:) Great app!!

    Awesome app. Works wonders but be warned once you start don’t miss more than one run or go without running for more than 3 days because it will be super hard

    My girlfriend started this first, and every day I listen to her tell me how much more she ran. I haven’t run in over 20 years since Marine Corps. It’s now after just a little bit, I feel like I’m running around at 5K soon. Thank you so much for this app, great motivation!

    i don’t review apps. but i’m reviewing this one! i didn’t think i could run. i’m 25, a little overweight, and very out of shape. i’ve tried and failed many times throughout the years to start running, but always became discouraged or lost my motivation. so i was skeptical when my friend told me to download this. but i’m happy to say that 1.5 months later.... i’m a 5k runner! the apps pace is accessible and encouraging. it’s not magic: you still have to be motivated enough to start the app and get out there. but once you do, you won’t be discouraged, because the app really does match your level and adjust accordingly. i’m so happy i gave it a try. and in fact, i’m doing their 5k to 10k app now!
