    I used to be a runner in my teens and 20s and 30s and 40s. Then I had to stop because of knees, hips, etc.. Now, almost 60 years old, I decided that I at least wanted to start doing walk/runs. So, a friend recommended this app, and I started doing it, and low and behold over about 3 months I ended up building up to a 10K! I was not sore for a single moment during this training, because the increase in the timing of the runs is so gradual. twice during the program, I made the easy adjustments of making it a little bit harder, I also made the easy adjustment of making it easier at one point. It truly is easy and smart to work with. I will probably redo the program every fall and spring as I have other regular exercises that I do in winter and summer. Highly recommended!!!

    When I started running, I had a tendency to over do it and end up getting hurt. This app gave me the guidance to gradually increase how much I ran so I didn’t get hurt and made running manageable/not overwhelming.

    I have been very happy with this app in preparation for a 10K. It is very doable and manageable. When I started, I couldn’t even run for a minute and now I’m up to 5K so far. I did try another app previously and I find this app much more user-friendly and it has helped me prepare in a more realistic way.

    Swimming is my go-to exercise for most of the year but I run a 5 K fundraiser each April. The 5 and 10 K apps help me get in running shape quickly and keep me from overdoing it, thus avoiding injury. It was also my go to exercise when pools were closed during the COVID 19 shutdown. I generally don’t like to run but I do enjoy the interval training with this app. It makes running tolerable and sometimes even enjoyable for me.

    The way the walking and running intervals build make it manageable for even the most out of shape starters. Love the halfway point audio and the ability to listen to my own running playlist. I will keep buying fitness apps from the company! I have been using this app for years now.

    I have used this app to train for a 10K and to get back in shape after pausing my running. I like how you can skip if it is too easy or add more sessions if it is too hard. I wish I could edit mileage when I run on a treadmill. That is the only change I would want.

    I was not able to reset the plan to adjust the race date. I could run more than three days a week to catch up (not suggested based on feedback from support)., but I could not reset the plan.

  • App Keeps Crashing

    I went from the 5K Runner app to the 10K and although I like the format of it, I’ve done 3 running sessions and all of which have made the app crash halfway through. I would rate it higher if they could fix the crashing bug. Thankfully I’m a treadmill runner and can skip to where I left off and my fitbit is tracking me, but I need the timing cues when I’m outside the app.
