It’s a really good app to split the expenses, it has a lot of options that you can choose from. You can split based on shares, exact values, percentages. The only limitation is that you have a limited amount of expenses you can add per day in the free version.

You really believe I am going to PAY to do some basic math and split expenses in a group? You must be unserious to charge 8$ a month for this. Just stop. And capping the amount of expenses to 5 with the free version is even more idiotic. Let’s stop this.

I do a lot of trips with friend groups and this has been such an amazing app. It makes expenses SO much easier to track, instead of constantly going back and forth with who owes who. It has a bunch of convenient features as well, such as the ability to post an expense on behalf of someone else. And if you’re not keen on connecting your bank account to yet another app, you can just mark it as paid and give each other cash or check or however you want to do it.

You get like 3 uploads a day on the free tier. Just use a better app like Tricount

Have used the free version of this app for years and it has been so helpful. Whether we were using it for trip expenses, or splitting rent/utilities, Splitwise was the go to.

Update: I deleted the bank connection, re-added this time by logging into bank account and uploading the most recent statement to Splitwise and now it works. Simply adding a connection with routing and checking account numbers might have been the issue. Not sure if it was a capitalone or Splitwise issue. **************** Continuous connection issues. It worked a few times but almost always has connection issues with capitalone. Also, typical app requiring more data than they need, specifically transaction history and statements.

Too little benefit for $59

Special things to these rare developers who just stuck to the script and developed an app that does its one job and does it well. No popups, no noise. Theyll bug you about buying premium version which we find to be worth the fee, but other than that, the app just does what its supposed to do.
