  • Doesn’t work after moving to iPhone XR

Took a couple of days but now it works. I could not restore purchases and will no read old editions when upgrading to new iPhone.
  • The Week App is Weak

    By Well educated and disgruntled
Can’t believe how horrible this app is and customer service is useless.
  • When it works, it works great.

I enjoy this app and I think it´s very easy to navigate. However, I have now been locked out of the program two or three times and this is my second time having to communicate with customer service to figure out how to log back in. So that´s frustrating. If the app didn´t kick me out unexpectedly and then mysteriously keep it that way, I’d give it more stars because it´s really a nice app within which to read a magazine.
  • Read for info on how to access your issues with new app.

The previous update was terrible and made the app far worse. This recent update seems to have corrected a lot of what was wrong. But to access the issues within the app you have to create an account within the app even if you technically already have an account with The Week. I think this was confusing for most people who’ve given poor reviews, including myself, because I assumed I didn’t need to create an account because I already had one. Plus there is a login screen that lets you try and login with your email address and regular account number that simply does not work. So I was left wondering why I couldn’t access my issues. I contacted customer service and they blew me off for something they should’ve been aware of. So I finally said screw it and just created an account within the app and what do you know now I can access my issues. Given that the reviews are being bombarded with one star reviews you would think customer service would be aware and simply explain what needs to be done. So I updated to three stars for the quality of the new app but the customer service and implementation was terrible.
  • good read, terrible app service

once again, they update the app and i get locked out and can’t sign back in. it’s been a week now (how ironic), and despite numerous email exchanges with both the app manager and customer service, i’m still locked out.
  • Subscriber - Unable to read issues

    By iPhUsr11
I am a new Print + Digital subscriber (signed up from The Week magazine website). I followed the instructions to create a password. I am unable to read/unlock any issues from Home tab in the app. Also, the Library tab only shows me issues that are at least 7 weeks old. I am unable to read any new issues. I have tried The Week app on both iPhone and Android and same problem exists on both. But on my computer, I can unlock the articles from latest issue by going to The Week website. This means that the problem exists with the developers of the mobile app.
  • June 21 2019 issue

The problem in May 2019 was fixed only to be superceded by the most recent 2 updates. As with others, my email doesn’t work for login. It works to view the magazine on The Week website, which works when wifi is connected but not offline. Am very unhappy with continual app problems.
  • The Week Update

    By Eileen Rea
I updated The Week. Now I cannot log in with my password. It does not recognize the account number on the front of the magazine. I even went back to check that I wasn’t copying the wrong numbers. I wasn’t. Now I cannot access the magazine at all. No way to contact support. So sorry I updated this app!
  • App Fails To Work Every Month

Stay away. Stay far away. I love the week but it’s not worth the aggravation of the app.
  • Disappointing

Can’t read issues offline. When online it’s still so slow that it’s annoying at best. I want to read this on the subway, which doesn’t always have the best cellular connection. This app makes that problematic.
