  • Too many spam-like ads, outdated

CJ’s website needs a total overhaul. Look to papers like the Boston Globe for the look and feel, plus features readers deserve. Update content daily. Get rid of those spam ads which seem to me as invitations for computer viruses. Younger readers use smartphones to read and interact with your paper. Make it appealing to them. Presently, your app isn’t appealing and barely useful. For older readers, make sure the font size is scalable. The CJ needs to put money into saving its storied tradition. You’ve lost numerous top notch reporters to other higher paying jobs. Future subscribers- eg, College students - aren’t engaged with your paper. What do they want? How can you keep satisfied the longtime subscribers but also attract new ones.

I had the old app, unfortunately I erased and had to reinstall your new app. I could move through the old app nicely, but with new app there are many new steps and I can no longer find the Indy Star. I realize technology is more for the young, but perhaps you should at least consider older people when making decisions. As a 55 year subscriber I am very disappointed in your company’s decisions.

This app is terrible. The print is blurry, it skips pages, can’t read funnies because they are also blurred. I have struggled with this app for several weeks, hoping it would improve-but no, not in the least! The app that was available before this one was fine. Not sure exactly why the change. If I had to use this app every day, I would cancel my subscription. Please get your act together!!

Just downloaded this app to read a particular article. I can't read this in landscape view, so I probably won't be using it much. Disappointed.

I must've had to sign in at least 10 times and I never did find the comics! Sirs, I love the extra comics. Could you provide them in color again in the e-edition? Gary Hibbeln
