    YouTube is a fun and convenient app yes, but recently they decided to ban people under 18 for no reason, they also expect you to submit a picture of your CREDIT CARD or ID just to use the app. Good luck losing about 55% of all users YouTube :3

    This recent policy of requiring your Government ID to simply watch videos if you're flagged as a child by an AI is ridiculous and invades our right to privacy. I will no longer be using Youtube.

    These recent AI updates, the aggression towards content creators, and the aggressive pushing of ads every 5 minutes are driving users and creators off the platform. It does not incentivize us to buy premium subscriptions, it incentivizes us to move to a different platform to watch our content creators. It’s exhausting dealing with the app’s consistent downgrades all for the sake of more profit in a time where most can hardly afford it. Also, there have been a multitude of rumors that Google is going to start requiring IDs such as faces from users to “protect kids”, despite the fact that there is already a Youtube Kids app, for kids to use safely. Everyone can tell that if these rumors are true, they are only for the sake of collecting data from users for God knows what, which is an incredible invasion of our privacy, as well as our wallets with the current premium push. You all make plenty of money that you end up hoarding or investing while tens of millions of Americans are defunded, starving, and homeless, and you still expect us to give give give until our pockets are barren and our bank accounts empty. Google LLC is one of the greediest corporations out there, despite having over 200 companies that make it plenty of money. You people are disgusting and do not care about your consumers nor your creators, only the profit they bring you.

    It’s like you don’t want us watching new videos. Every single time I load the home page it’s 80% videos I’ve seen and 20% unrelated slop. WHERE ARE THE PEOPLE I SUBSCRIBE TO. Your app is ruined, will end premium
