Impossible hole locations Bad putting interface

Tried to start a match and it glitched every time I tried to putt. Tried 3 times and never putted even once. Deleted as of now.

As a beginner all match play games timeout before my shot can be played when ball gets on the green with a stroke penalty. But opponent can play their putts without a problem. Serious flaw.

I would literally write this game zero stars because of one thing in one hole, that’s because you literally have only 30 seconds to literally do the whole entire whole. Or it will penalize you into instant over bogey. Sorry, but that’s just trash leading to them trying to say oh but that won’t happen if you pay for the extra time in your shot. Don’t know if they do that because I’m not playing this anymore. Sorry but I’m not your guinea pig. Nor your personal wallet.

Saw another fantasy game probably on a par with Golf Star with NO WIND/NO CADDY WATCHES, & probably a lot less crap to buy,Golf Rivals. Most likely will call it quits with Golf Stars after 8 yrs, not really sure why I stayed this long. Anyone wanting to get a jump start on game, player with about 30k in stars & 260million in G’s contract me at Cats guild.

Been playing for a number of years but last few month the game constantly crashes as mentioned by many other reviewers here. Don’t bother downloading this game. The lame responses from the developers here are clearly the PR team. No real solutions offered. Meanwhile they are raking in the cash with in game purchase offers.. these sort of games might be in the crosshairs of litigation lawyers/class action at some point.

This game is fun but aggravating. First and foremost, the game can be glitchy, especially on an iOS device. Right in the middle of live match the game can freeze and crash, requiring a fresh restart. If you’re not quick to realize the problem, you can’t restart fast enough to win your live match. Secondly, there are physics engine and coding issues. Shot inconsistency is a problem. Hitting a high shot, to an elevated green, into the wind, the ball should not travel 20 yds farther than under more neutral conditions. The putting guides can sometimes be way off. Adjust your putt to the left, hit it a little soft (which in real life would cause the putt to break more) and the putt misses to the right, more than the original putting guide showed, before the adjustment. Read all the reviews. The same issues are still prevalent. If you can live with the glitches and inconsistencies…go for it.

I keep getting time outs after the tee. I reported the issue as the bot that responds to these comments suggested and got a canned response. Then I look further into the reviews here and see they have been getting these reports for over 2 years now! Reporting this app to Apple as broken and should be removed from the store. The developer doesn’t care, even if they respond to this that they do. Two years is way too long for a game breaking bug.

The one thing I don’t like about this game is that you need a extremely good set of clubs to hit it far. The stock clubs don’t go as far and I think you should change that to make it that every club is slightly similar. I also think this game is extremely unrealistic.
