  • Randomly calls are not recorded

    By pontoon1
I have at least 5 calls that didn’t record. I was depending on these recordings. Customer service is a nightmare. I was emailing with David, he told me he found my missing calls. Then he asked me “can you really not hear the call”? But he never gave me the recording, he just stopped returning my emails. No David! I really have the calls, I just enjoy your customer service so much!!! Find another recording app!
  • Not automatically record

Actually i had a app on android that was free and record automatically, but this app need some action to record a call! I mean i would record my upcoming call without any action i can not say to the person wait a second and go to the app and merge calls! That take few seconds!
  • No access

I paid $9.99 for this app. I needed it for a custody battle I was in. It worked great, everything was great. Then I go to record a call again and I can’t see my previous calls I recorded and can’t record another call. It’s saying I have to pay an annual membership now? Don’t get this app. They just want your money.
  • Slower than previously

My conference calls often exceed 30 minutes, which slows down processing substantially. Sometimes I don’t get access until the following day so I’ve started using my voice recorder on my iPad as a backup. For some time it wasn’t working at all but I’m happy it’s back.

Beware when you sign up. You will be charged monthly if you don’t cancel. Read all terms carefully they hide a lot of important info.
  • App doesn’t function at all.

    By Thechoedenkal
I just spent 11 dollars on this application and it doesn’t work on my phone. I get to the consent to terms of use screen and the whole application freezes.
  • Complicated

You have to dial their number, and sometimes it doesn’t work. Then you wait, and go back to home screen. Then merge the call. It takes time who ever on the other side, will get a wired feelings.
  • I love this app wholeheartedly

    By pacific madrone
I’m a journalist, so it comes in handy constantly for phone interviews. But I will share a more personal story. When I got an iPhone and realized what TapeACall could do for me, work wise, I also thought about my relationship with my adoptive father, my closest friend of 30 years, who takes terrible care of himself and really has been a ticking time bomb for most of the time I’ve known him. Three years ago I began recording our weekly calls. And now he is dying, for real, a vicious terminal illness. I thank God (and you guys <3 ) that I have these documents of my relationship with the person I love most in this world.
  • Good when it works

    By Sho1789
This works great when it’s not dropping calls, which lately has been pretty frequently. It also can take awhile to merge the calls, but there aren’t many options it there and this is the best among them.
