Fantastic app. This is an app that needs to be on every phone. I can’t tell you the amount of problems this app has solved very quickly. It’s ability to export your phone conversations into easily listen to MP3s is fantastic anytime you have a conflict with a customer service rep it’s hard to dispute recorded audio. Make sure that you are within your states recording guidelines!

  • Paid for this

    By Vegas Blake
Paid for it long ago, now they can’t fetch my pro version since some new update. Will be looking for another version because even if I wanted to pay again, they don’t let me. The app is stuck with a button that doesn’t work “reactivate”. It does nothing. Used to be a great app. Testing and development seems to be underfunded, can’t see why else it wouldn’t work for me, im using an iPhone pro max 13 with current OS
  • Allow copy and paste

Allow copy and paste of phone number in the app to easy make calls.
  • Can’t view time stamp and transcription on same screen

    By Vebastian Settel
Update on this review. Half the incoming calls I try record aren’t recorded or stored. 1 star Pay for Pro plus to transcribe the call. Transcription is ok, when i talk to someone with same tone of voice, the transcription is often muddled and doesn’t show the correct speaker. Furthermore, the problem gets worse by the fact that you can’t fast forward, rewind or make any adjustments to the time stamp of the audio when you’re viewing the transcription. So I’m trying to dissect the recorded call to get exact quotes, but I have to flip back and forth from audio time table to the transcription. This use to be a feature and now it has been removed. What the heck? Will update review when this is fixed.

  • They’ve taken away the ability for small businesses to keep their personal phone number private

    By JustFixItAlready333
I record my calls with my clients so I can send them the recording when we’re done. It’s a critical part of my service offering. But TapeACall has taken away the asterisk in their keypad (again) so I can’t dial *67 before the call to hide my personal phone number. They won’t allow you to set up an account with a Google Voice number, so if you’re a small business you no longer have an option but to hand out your personal phone number to all of your clients. All they have to do is add the asterisk back to their keypad, which they have done before, but this time they’re refusing to make that change. They clearly have no user experience insight and don’t care. Have to find a new app now.
  • Great app

This is a great app. It does one thing, and does it well. I’ve been using it to save conversations with my aging Mom so I can listen to them after she’s gone. However, IOS 16 breaks it a bit - when the phone goes to sleep, it now hangs up.
