I have been a user of LDOCE PLUS for years. Suddenly, I found the application not working. I tried to reinstall the app, hoping the problem would be solved; however, it was no longer available. I paid for that application years ago, and I’m wondering how this happened. It’s the next level of irresponsibility.

This app and Longman Advanced American Dictionary used to be the best purchases I have ever made till the update of IOS 17. I realized that suddenly the second app no longer exists in the app store and LDOCE doesn't work properly. I paid money for both apps that were supposed to be available and it was said to be a one-time payment. Now not only it's forcing us to get a new app but also expects us to pay for the new app. It doesn't sound right. And there is no response to emails.

I purchased the LDOCE+ for almost 30$ and all of a sudden it is removed from the app store! I even sent an email to the developer but they did not reply. Why should I pay again for something I’ve already bought?! This one is not even close to LDOCE+ and doesn’t have many of the features.

The app is acting funny. When I search for a word I don’t get a result.

I don’t know why pronunciations aren’t played? Is there anything that I can do to fix it?

The old version of this dictionary is better than this version.

I really find this dictionary app super helpful. It’s usually my go to and love that it has a history feature, can play example sentences and has decent derivations. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because I wish it had a portrait/vertical orientation on the iPad like it does on the iPhone.

This is a very good dictionary for beginners like me,this is free without any ADS, this is so great and complete 😊👌

There’s a bug in ios16 , since I updated my ios , this app hasn’t worked well , I can’t seatch word directly in search line and every time I want to search word I have to click on search icon in menu bar!! Please fix the bug. Thanks.
