Overall, the app was pretty decent until they did the most recent upgrade. It made it so that my Apple Watch no longer was compatible with the app. One of the biggest things I like in a Golf GPS app is to have the distances on my Apple Watch so that when I walk away from the cart, I can still check my distances. Can no longer do that unless I buy a new Apple Watch. Just renewed my subscription last month. Had I known this upgrade would make it less functional for me I would not have done so. Can’t get a refund.

Other than the advertisements and having to clear them out every hole, it’s great

So I had a problem with some of the holes at my club showing incorrect pars. They would change in the middle of the round. My course is a Par 73 and it was showing up as a 74 or higher. Very frustrating. After going back & forth with support and they telling me the issue was corrected (it wasn’t), I found the problem in my own. If I entered my scores in the app, everything was correct but if I entered them on my watch the pars changed. Now that I know this everything is correct. I advised support and they’re working on a fix.

The app is far from intuitive. As a beginner golfer I just want something to help me improve and works well with the BT devices I’ve invested in. It crashes any time I try to edit a past hole or past round. I couldn’t care less about the leaderboard of social aspects of the app, they just take up space. Really starting to regret my purchases of the captain pro rangefinder and player pro speaker. I was excited for the rainmaker before all the poor feedback started coming out. Invest less in social media influencers and invest more in the reliability and usability of your products. Unlikely I will be extending my subscription once it runs out.

The fact that keeping score is locked behind a subscription is insane

There’s a lot of competitors trying to dupe and recreate what Blue Tees has done with speakers and products and it can’t be done. They’re the lululemon of golf tech rangefinders and speakers! Best app and products in the biz.

Just got this and it won’t download any course tried different course, by cell signal and WiFi. VERY disappointing and I just got a blue tees launch monitor that review will be coming next.

The app is a great idea but it is plagued with bugs that make using it very frustrating. It DOES NOT sync with the Rainmaker (launch monitor) and so you have to enter your club details manually. Support says that syncing is coming, but it is very disappointing to ship both an expensive product (Rainmaker is $700) plus a premium app ($99/year) to have ZERO syncing. I was using the app this week on two rounds; I was counting on the app to give me yardage but the app kept saying the center of the pin was 999 yards every other hold. It ended up being completely useless. Also, note that your bag randomly changes every so often. On the eighth hole, my 9 iron just disappeared. If the company is reading these reviews, please put some serious time and energy into fixing the issues!

After reading a review of the Blue Tees rangefinder, I thought the app integration sounded fantastic, but before buying the rangefinder, I wanted to explore the app. Impossible. After going through the registration process, I couldn’t find a way to a course flyover option without signing up for a $79.00 subscription (for the love of God, can I just explore the app first?!). Plus, the graphics remind me of an arcade game, and having grown up on the tenth hole of a golf course... well... “arcade” is not the vibe for me. I mean, is this Words with Friends or a golf Round? I will stick with TheGrint and buy their Autograph series rangefinder. Two stars because at least it has hardware integration into a system, which might be important enough to some people for them to overlook the arcade feel and splash screen abuse. Cheers

No clear way to cancel membership after trial. They will lock you in and make it difficult to cancel after charging your card.
