  • Great app, sound needs fixing though

    By mcn31l
This is a really good app, my son has really taken a shining to it. We have some of the books so it is a nice transition. My problem with the app is that you get half way though a lesson and the sound drops out. This is very annoying as each lesson has sound to say what is required and It really does take the fun out of the app.
  • No sound

    By DairusB
I have downloaded the app multiple times and updated all that I could. Yet still no sound and no way to play.
  • ITS JUST GREAT but........

  • Homer app is better

    By Tink1991_33
This is a very busy app for kids. The homer app is more streamlined and the graphics are newer. Overall unimpressed
  • Great for struggling and advanced readers alike

    By NKadilak
I have been through dozens of so-called reading and sight word apps for my kids. I have a 7-year-old with a learning disability and a 5-year-old who is advanced for her age. They both have enjoyed this app immensely. The placement test was very nice, and the program is balanced between word families, sounds, and sight/high-frequency words. It contains the repetition and feedback struggling kids need to feel successful. I am an early childhood educator and I would recommend this app to literally anyone I knew with early-elementary-age children.
  • Love

    By Leah87
We love reading eggs for our 7 & 5 year old! We have been using it for the summer so that they do not regress! They have learned so much, and so many new site words!
  • Sound stops intermittently

    By Crazyman 21
Just started and sound doesn’t always work. Ftf its so annoying as kid really wants to use it
  • No sound on iPhone 7

    By bribriscoe
First few lessons works fine, but then there’s no sound. I’ve tried it several times and it’s always the same. Our new math game is now guess how many lessons until we lose sound.

    Loved it ;)
  • What’s with the small working surface?

    By M..E..
This would be better on a tablet but when using on my phone my kid gets super frustrated. There’s a huge green border and the actual space they need to work in/tap is tiny causing frustration because it says the answer is wrong when really it’s just too small of a working space. The worse being how do you click the “l” in “slot” when it’s like a 12pt font?! Ridiculous to have the focus of the screen be less than a quarter of the actual screen size.
