This is the best PDF app on iOS. Very fluent and smooth. Support your legacy users by providing customized toolbar. Also add custom icons (please don’t hide them behind subscription) in all colors, black and white for dark mode. Stop pushing subscriptions to legacy users. Also remove that ugly AI icon, or make it consistent with other icons which are just lines with no square blue background.

Stop blasting pop ups selling upgrades. If people want it, they will buy it.

PDF Expert has terrible. Client support is nonresponsive and provides no helpful information in terms of using the companies products. I was promised a fix but the app is still freezing and is useless. After my many years of loyalty I am shocked Readdle hasn’t done more to address the issue, I am looking for an alternative.

I bought and used PDF Expert since 2011. They went to a subscription only service, but since I had bought it at the beginning, I was grandfathered in. But, they took away the things I used to have and the only way to get it back is to use their subscription services! I paid a lot for this software and they don’t honor their promises. I’m not the only one that is disappointed.

Does not support Dynamic XML PDF’s and even though such XML PDF’s (using Java code for automation) started being deprecated in 2021, they’re in use now and will likely be for years to come. As this is a small % of all PDF’s being sent back and forth, I went with 4 stars. But this needs to be added. It might be tough to do on IpadOS (currently only Mac and PC PDF apps support this), but if at all possible should be added. ZIP and UNZIP would be nice to haves for PDF’s (lots of companies require any docs including PDF’s be zipped with password) so it required also acquiring another app specific to ZIP/Unzip functions. Once you get used to the user interface and where PDF’s are stored, which took me only a few minutes to figure out as it’s relatively good intuitive interface, things ran smooth. I create and work with PDF’s every day and other than Dynamic XML support, everything works nicely! Regarding Support, I have to disagree with other reviewers. When I reached out for support, I got a response (that was useful) within a few hours. This is a global platform (resiliency and redundancy in place across globally distributed cloud environment) so for various conversions all those systems are in place and work nicely. Developers are based in the Ukraine and other countries, but Ukraine is primary, so given the war in progress, I think they’re doing an amazing job supporting us.

I’ve paid for this app twice and they continue to ask for money for the most basic functions of importing a document and converting to pdf

I purchased this app in 2013 for 10$ , and the pro tools were all working, why should I need to pay more now when I already bought the app before???????? This is really unfair
