  • Ads and more ads

I installed this app years ago and recently it’s become utterly infested with ads. I opened it to do some quick math. Before I could use it I had to sit through a 30 second unskippable ad. I then entered 4 of the numbers and was prompted with another full screen ad before even 60 seconds passed. How is this usable? I understand ad revenue as a means to pay for things, but this is ads to the point that it’s an Ad application with an included calculator. I’m honestly considering reporting this to Apple as an abuse of their in-app ad system.
  • Terrible ads with free version

I can’t work using this calculator due to the number of stupid ads that keep coming up.
  • Pop up ads

    Constantly interrupting! Very annoying.
  • The recent addition of full page ads make this unusable

I’ve used this calculator app for years but am uninstalling it for something else now. The banner ads were ok, but the ads that take over the whole screen are a problem. This happens randomly when clicking on several of the calculator function buttons. And, they are the lame Chinese game ads with the timer before you can dismiss it.
  • This app is terrible now

  • If you like ads. This app for you

    Ad you to death
  • You have to watch long ads before you can use a calculator

I don’t care how good your app is, your app shows a lot of ads even before I can use calculator and it’s very annoying. There are better ways to serve ads, not your obstructive ways
  • Too many ads

I get that you need to use advertising…. but this is a convenience app. It’s not convenient when you’re in the middle of a calculation and a popup comes out of nowhere… it’s kinda hard to remember where you were after being assaulted by an aggressively cheerful cooking game ad. Also, just musing, but I don’t know why developers think they should be able to put one app out into the world and live off it for the rest of their lives. I work hard and I don’t get a royalty on every resource I have saved/created over the decades. 06/03/21, Response to developer: yes I know I can pay to remove ads; I did that. I upgraded to pro a few years back. But I just got a new ipad and the ads are back, and there is no way to restore my purchase. And like I said above, the ads are way beyond irritating, they actually render the app useless. They don’t stay along the bottom, they just pop up and eclipse the entire screen. And because you refuse to grasp/address this issue, but instead defend the ads as “a minor inconvenience, because its free,” I am lowering my rating to 1 star. It has no use. It’s unusable. It’s not “free” if you can’t use it. Stop calling it free. I suggest you install the “free” version and try to use it and see just how useless it is.
