    Came back after 2 years, the game is still bad and now worse. Try to make coin to add that police station before your sims abandon house? Nope! Buy this, buy that. Wait, wait, wait. I’ve played plenty of mobile games with no ads. The ads in this game are horrible, too! Yanking me OUT of the game and into the app store! NO! I started avoiding speed ups just for that to not happen. Not fun at all, nothing improved over the years. Avoid this money grab. 0/5

    Terrific graphics, so hopefully you won’t notice all the ways EA tries to cheat you out of money. That’s the real game of course/

  • Uses nothing you loved about the original SimCity for Mac/PC

    I played for a month or so and deleted the app today. I got up to Level 30 and that allowed me to explore most elements of the game. If you are looking for the fun you had playing the original SimCity for Mac/PC, this is NOT it. Don’t even bother downloading it. It’s not worth your time. What this mostly is (and you’ll see this in others’ reviews) is a rigged-against-you “global marketplace” and waiting endlessly for resources to complete. It becomes boring, repetitive and slow. There’s very little strategy or entertaining gameplay to be had. The pay to win mechanic offers you shortcuts of course, and it’s as toxic, manipulative and addictive as any other P2W game in the iOS App Store.

    SimCity build it has definitely been one of my favorite games for a while now but just recently I’ve discovered something that really makes me rethink the amount of time I will spend on this game. I’m currently on my second city, (I had abandoned one prior from years ago) but due to how the city backups are correlated with all linked accounts, I’m not able to backup my current city At All or even just view my old city without it overriding and deleting the current one(on my device). It is a shame since this is one of the few games I do not have an issue purchasing currency but the fact that Im unable to save my city to any of my linked accounts (iCloud, Game Center, Facebook) seems like a terrible design flaw and I just can no longer justify any screen time on this app given my city could be lost at any time. Please fix this

  • Scam!!! BEWARE!!!

    As soon as I downloaded the app, I immediately was bombarded with spam emails thanking me for joining email subscription and requesting verify subscriptions. Seconds later, I received notifications that “StubHub” charged my credit card for over $6,000, then refunded the money, then received a second notification, while on the phone with my bank, that “StubHub” charged my credit card again, but this time for over $15,000!!! This app completely infiltrated my phone.

    When putting something up for sale at the trade depot, and we accidentally make a mistake posting something for sale, that me meant to keep. We should be able to put that item back into our inventory.

    Ok I absolutely love the is game but I see so many reviews that go like “YOU MUST SPEND MONEY” or “YOUR WO GREEDY” but that’s certainly not the case I just started playing on my iPad and I have like 156k people and not ONCE have I considered paying a dime.

    First of all, when you reach level 14, you unlock the garbage dumps which causes pollution when placed. Then the sims get mad 😡when there’s pollution everywhere. But when you don’t put a garbage dump down they just get angry, then you lose happiness. It’s not like I have 60,000 simleons. Second of all, some of the stuff you have to buy cost WAY more money than it needs to. The second I spend simleons on smt, I have to buy something to fix a problem whatsoever. Overall this game is just frustrating and a waste of time.
