I’m sorry to say that if you’re looking for a good drawing app, this is the wrong app. The way you draw lines is way too jarring and slow, while I was tracing an image, the lines do this weird thing where they automatically snap to something. Meaning you can’t do strokes and slowly have to draw every single line. The tool selection is missing some very important tools that would make drawing more easier and less time consuming than it is right now. There is no magic wand selection tool that allows you to automatically select blank areas that will not go through lines. And if you close the app to go back in, your selections will disappear, meaning you’ll have to select what you previously selected again. I had to trace carefully in the lines of my drawing just so I could start filling it with color, which brings me to the next problem: there is no paint bucket tool. If you wanted to quickly fill in large areas, too bad. You’ll have to go and modify a brush and make it huge, and then fill it in yourself. As for modifying brushes, it is a hassle to get the specific size you want by just using a slider alone. This would have benefitted if there was a feature that allowed you to type in the numbers so you can get the exact brush properties you want. As for the positives, the menus are very easy to navigate, and it is insanely easy to find what you need. Undoing and redoing is a snap, and being able to quickly change the size and opacity of the brush is nice. Otherwise I give this app only 2 stars. While it is very user friendly with its menus, it lacks some necessary tools in order to make drawing artwork faster, and easier. I suggest that you use this app for small artwork pieces, and loose drawings. It is not good for artwork on a larger scale.

Procreate Pocket is always the last to receive any updates and cool new features, waited half of a year just to get the consistent crashing fixed.
  • There’s nothing wrong with this app for me! uwu

I have procreate on my iPad and I use that. I have used procreate for pretty much a while by now so I decided to get the pocket version of this app for my phone! I have a stylus for my phone so the app is just amazing. I can see that there are bad reviews for this app, but there’s nothing really wrong with this app for me. If you have ever experienced using procreate on your iPad before, this app may work for you as well because you will already know how to use this app!! Hopefully this review helps a lot!! uwu ✨

I love this app, it’s helped me create some of my finest work. The only problem is that I can’t go back after I make a mistake and have to completely erase and redo it. If you could make a button like that it would be less nerve wracking. Thank you! Love it!
  • Take your time when playing around with the app.

At first I thought I wasted my money on the app because I didn’t know how to use but I continued to play around with the app. I found out that double tapping the screen with two fingers is used to undo things. I also found of the two circles on the side helps change the size of the bush and opacity.
  • Not pleased....😞

So I just purchased this app thinking it would be cross platform on the 8plus and the iPad Pro. My mistake....so now I’ve wasted $5 purchasing it on my iPad...program is half the size of the screen even when expanded...and I would have to purchase again for the phone...🙄🤦🏼‍♀️

Ok one when I accidentally exit out bc I made a mistake I go back into it and then wa la I can’t undo my mistake. I’m not happy with the way this app turned out... like I spent 4.99 on this and it’s not even good! Like I want my money back plz... I want my 4.99 back, it’s not even funny. Like I can’t even edit with this horrible app. It’s boring and makes me mad. I know some ppl like it but I HATE it. 🥴 I’m sorry but this just made my night miserable 😕. Plz can I at least get meh money back?? It WOULD make my day if I could get my money back... if not that’s just not cool... 😐 plz... I would like to spend my money on my games instead of this... Thank you for your time...

If you love to edit or retouch an Avatar/Sim, this app is perfect. You can easily add shadows and highlights onto your editorials. You can also export a time lapse of your process as well as an image. I do recommend renaming each layer as you edit. And a third layer just for additional retouches. I also recommend locking the background and the avatar down so that you won’t be able to move them once you start editing. This app is a great alternative to Photoshop. It has the same basic things that Photoshop has but you have to make it work for yourself.
  • Great app for testing!

I honestly like the iPad version because I have a 6s and I used to have a 7 but it stopped working but it was extremely hard to draw on the phone even with my stylus. Luckily I’m going to add procreate to my new iPad and Apple Pencil when it gets here as a gift!
