This isn’t a game it’s a slot machine with Star Wars characters. Please don’t play this game. You will spends money you never thought you would on a mobile game!

Just be aware you are punished in matchmaking for being a collector. For example if you unlock 150 characters, 9/10 your opponent will be a dedicated multiplayer. This means that they will have half of your unlocked characters and maybe 25 at near top end gear. It doesn’t matter how many characters are thrown against just one team of 5, your 145 are ants and will NEVER get past them. For several years this has been the case and there has been no improvement to relative pairing. I know the mechanics and team counters but it does not matter if you have a larger collection. Start with quality and then move to quantity. There are no do-overs. You might say multiplayer doesn’t matter but if this game is played for an extended period of time and it has to be or you’ve walked away, rewards for rank will come into play. Aside this is an enjoyable Star Wars game and has an incredible YouTube fan base who create amazing entertainment around this game.
  • Stupid long grind

The gear/character shard grind is stupid long, it will literally take 5 years min. To unlock any of the more powerful characters if your f2p. Don’t waste your time…don’t waste your money.
  • Fun, but eventually only for hardcore nerds

This is a great game…. for a time. Play with friends, collect characters, maybe give 2 weeks of your time to this game. Then delete it. The introduction of mods, the time barriers for energy in order to even play the game, and the relentless attack from the pay wall demanding you pay money to collect 1/8 of a character just to unlock it, let alone upgrade it max is nearly impossible unless you’re rich or live inside the game itself. Do yourself a favor, look up “swgoh mods” and read the 10 page essay on how mods work in the game. If you like games like Dota, then maybe this game is for you. If you’re like me and just want to slice people with lightsabers, play for a small time and then admit your not gaining an engineering degree just to see how you can get the best squad collected in a phone game. 3 stars.

Veteran player here who's seen so many changes over the years. All I can say is that this game just gets worse everytime a new patch rolls out. (Horrible matchmaking, quick cash-grab events, & repetitive events). All I can say is avoid this game and find something else.

Dark side Rey from swtros would be cool and so would as a light side support that can give buffs to republic allies but will also give more offense to separatist allies too. maybe jar jar but he would probably just evade every attack and gain no turn meter until he escapes battle
  • Best game ever

This game is the best but I would like it more if it had the jedi temple guard and the grand inquisitor
  • Not user friendly/ chat is terrible

Can you make it more user friendly? Chat is only available to guild members or friends/followers! Joining a guild in this game is difficult because of lack of communication! They should allow open discussion with all guild leaders! This would help out tremendously in joining a guild and guild participation! The game has been out for years and the only thing they have made updates to is spending money! So until players and people who spend money on the game stop and demand it! This simple update in a user friendly game won’t happen!!

I have been playing this game for five years. After the November update My 1st account got banned. I spend so much time, effort and close to $500. Yesterday I woke up to my second account been banned as well. Just when I was thinking of spending $ to catch up. People, don’t spend money On this game. Capital Games are making us spend money. Just to get banned afterwards. That’s throwing money to the trash can for their benefit.
  • Fun with some drawbacks

Very fun game. I’ve been playing for about a year now and it’s so addictive. Lots of game modes to keep you interested. There are a couple of downsides which is why I’m rating this game at 3/5. It’s very pay to win oriented in a lot of regards. You can play for free easily, but that makes it much harder to obtain the best characters and causes things to slow down rapidly in terms of progress. The other downside for me personally is how difficult the ship battles are. The recommended levels don’t mean much and that makes it frustrating when you go up against seemingly much weaker opponents only to get annihilated. But it’s still very fun. I get EA wants to make money off the people willing to, but I feel some of the content they can make easier to obtain for ftp players without hurting their bottom line. I personally love that EA does not have an exclusive contract for Star Wars games anymore.
