  • Great at identifying all of the plants in the garden!

    Love it, I can’t garden without it, now, have recommended it to many friends. Only small complaint is that grasses seem a little harder for the app to identify. I can get different answers for the same clump of grass blades. (But understandable, they almost all look the same to me.) Also, I know people have different opinions about what is a weed and should be removed depending on where it’s peeking out from, but for plants that in the USA are absolutely invasive weeds that should be removed no matter what, the app would flag it at the top so I wouldn’t have to scroll down and figure it out. (Japanese barberry, burning bush, etc.)

  • Good for plant identification, don’t rely on it to tell you when to water and feed

    The high point of this app for me is plant identification. It is also helpful for making and keeping notes on my plants. I wouldn’t rely on it for watering and feeding, however, which of course depends so much on the individual plant circumstances. But then the reminders may be useful if you tend to forget about your plants and do not monitor them.

    Best I’ve found for accurate plant identification. Wish it would store location as well so photos can be grouped and an easy merge function to put multiples of the same together

    I used the premium feature and scanned my plant and it told me I was overwatering, so I watered less and they drooped a lot. My friend told me they needed water and they significantly perked up. Then it charged me $40. Yikes.

    I couldn’t be happier with this app. It’s worth every penny. It has helped us identify so many plants around our house and the creek. It’s saved my whole family from an itchy nightmare discovering all the big vines on the trees around our house were poison ivy with big branches and leaves that made it look like a tree. 😮‍💨 Big thank you to the team who developed this app.

    It’s close to 85% accurate. If it gets a good picture, the accuracy rises to 100%. This app is very important, as it tells you the disease the plant has, if it’s toxic, what the plant is. I use it all the time. Highly recommend.

    I ID about 1 plant per month on average so not really interested in paying for a full use license. If you are like me, the way to get to the free mode is an almost invisible cancel button (for the upgrade splash screen) in the upper right.
