    By far my favorite travel app (as someone who flies weekly) and one of the few apps I’m willing to pay for. Unfortunately I’ve had to disable notifications though. Like every app, Flighty has gone bananas with waaaaaaaay too many notifications (you’re flight is getting ready to take off, your flight is taking off, your flight took off, your flight is flying around in the sky, hey there are clouds around your flight, you’re going to land someday, you’re about to land, you've landed, you landed a while ago, you landed yesterday, etc). Yeah I exaggerate a little bit, but it’s not too far off. It would be refreshing for app designers (and email marketing “experts) to wake up to the fact that people HATE too many notifications. The more one gets something, the less value it has. How about offering notifications for just important items such as when something goes wrong (gate changes, significant delays, a wing falls off, etc), instead of EVERYTHING?     This app revolutionized the way I travel. I can check my flight and flight options whenever my flight is delayed. It syncs beautifully with my calendar . Hope they create different friends flights profile in the future as right now I have all friends , family and work colleagues flights together . For “my flights” it works great. A sync with Apple Watch would be nice also. These are just improvements details from a robust , reliable 5* app !

  • Why can’t I just use the app without spamming for premium?

    I track a flight maybe 3-4 times a year. Every time I open the app it’s always “get the pro version” ad. Horrible experience. Will never purchase.

  • Unable to add flights

    All of sudden in the last week I have not been able to add flights. Once I type the airport code it does not generate. When I hit next the previous flight I inputted only comes up. Please fix

    One of the key things missing for me in this app is information on the planes altitude. I find this to be interesting and useful information that all other flight trackers (eg FlightAware and Flightradar24) have. It’s also a bit concerning that sensitive information like your booking code get shared when you share a flight with someone. There should definitely be an option for this. “Where’s my plane” is also pretty buggy often. Shows multiple conflicting flights, or no tail number ever available. It seems like you should be able to get more accurate data for this. Also, a promo code to discount the annual or lifetime purchase would help… 😃

  • Great UI but needs continued development

    This app has a gorgeous UI. Big concern/annoyance is that there isn't a way to share flights with others without sending sensitive information like the booking code. About 20% of the time the "where's my plane" feature shows incorrect information. Surprising because if I research it on my own on other apps, the right information is available. Also, there should be an Android version otherwise you can't collaborate on flights with non-iPhone friends.

    The app opened one time and was extensively glitchy. As soon as I tried to view the first flight, the app crashed and would not open again.

    $4.99 a month just to add older flights to fill out your passport is ridiculous. Sure there are other features but to use that as a lock out is ridiculous. Uninstalling and not trying a trial of the other features.

    I generally love this app for its rich feature set, but today it failed me. My flight was delayed by an hour and 20 minutes, the announcement on the Delta app coming 45 minutes ago ands, but Flighty still shows it as departing on time. I knocked a star off for this.
