  • Can I give zero stars?

Slow, buggy, repeatedly fails to connect to the charger. Still garbage. Charger repeatedly goes offline which disables almost all charging functions. Last time deleting the app and reinstalling fixed the problem but not this time. If the promised May 6, 2024 update to the app does not resolve these issue this charger will go back to Costco.
  • Why charging apps are all so bad?

Extremely glitchy app. Impossible to charge as a guest.

2 chargers in Crystal Lake, IL are out of service and no response from support. New app update may have also caused issues.
  • User interface confusing

There’s a scheduling mode but it isn’t clear if the schedule is when the charger is on or when it is off. It just says “schedule”. Then I don’t know how to enabled for 9pm-6am. It isn’t clear what happens or how to do it since the program has separate schedules for each day. Then because it doesn’t always work (see other reviews) it is hard to know if I programmed incorrectly or it is just one of those times it didn’t work— so hard to learn anything through experiments

Password stupid. Phone app and website not in sinc. Made me change password on Phone app then denied access on Web website with same password when changing passwords on website it said OK then when I tried to use it, it said you’re locked out. Try again later. Not good web security.
  • An astounding failure of basic requirements in the pursuit of useless features

It’s hard to imagine what Enel X used as requirements to develop this app. It feels like a clumsy attempt to birth some kind of marketplace/experience/data nirvana, very much in detriment of obvious basic tasks like “charge my car” and “open app”. This digital atrocity seems incapable of managing multiple users, remembering logins, loading screens glitch-free, opening in a reasonable timeframe… all the while pushing you to sign up for this or that. I might be going out on a limb here, but when I bought the stupid charger it was so I could plug my car in and recharge it without having to jump through any annoying, pointless and shoddily assembled hoops. I never thought I would one day fantasize about being able to charge at home with the push of just one or two instantly available buttons, but here I am. To the Juicebox powers that be: do yourselves a favor and banish whoever managed (or failed to manage) the user experience aspects of this abomination. Replace them with a competent voice-of-customer team and for god’s sake keep it simple. It just needs to be a dependable charger.
  • High school project

I feel like this application was written and is maintained by high school students. I want to say good job for trying, but the app doesn’t work very well.
  • Creating a new account? Unlucky you!

Been trying all day to create an account. I get to the password stage, and I’m continuously met with a “Something went wrong” page. I’ve tried deleting the app and reinstalling, no go. I’ve tried searching for a way to create the account on a web browser, can’t find a site that will allow that. So I’m stuck, and not able to use this app or a charger. Fantastic! So Enel, fix it!
  • What is wrong with this company?

I just found out that Enel X "migrated" us over to a new app and the switchover is far from easy or seamless. Forcing us to move to a new app so you can track our location and gather more of our data is just wrong. I will never buy another prodcut from your company again. You've lost all credibility.
  • The single worst app I have ever used

The next time your charger or app fails I will toss the whole thing into garbage which is where it belongs. I have NEVER seen such a petty excuse for programming. Do your developers pay you to be allowed to work? And, "developer" boilerplate responses to fully justified one-star reviews are insultingly irrelevant. NEW FEATURES PUSHBACK: baahahahahaaaahahahahhh!
