while the app is easy to navigate, i see little to no advantage over playing on the website (on mobile). also, when you drag a piece, the app as a default highlights it with a bubble, presumably to make it easier to see under your finger. however, in my opinion this makes it harder to quickly move pieces in faster time controls. im underrated in bullet, and yet consistently get flagged when i use the app. i prefer using the website, even on my phone.

I download this app few weeks ago. Just few days after I play some bass players that try to bully me out of playing chess, saying things like noob, erase the app, quit playing chess …. And other stuff he was on my same rating and still won our last game I reported his behavior and few days back chess. Con sent me a message rectifying the situation. And that was nice that they really monitor those type players. I play now with some friends that I told them about the app. We are having fun playing 3 days or 7 days game. Enjoy very much the puzzles.

App is smooth, game is great, no complaints there. However, the amount of cheaters is totally out of control. Do a quick internet search and you’ll see what I mean. I’d say 30-40% of my games have blatant cheating. The devs don’t ban on a regular basis so good luck finding an honest game. Cheaters are especially prevalent at lower levels. Very obvious to everyone but the devs who don’t want to sacrifice the big player base cash for honest games. Sad.

Honestly it’s an we’ll functioning app and I enjoy the game of chess. However I found a problem when trying to refund a subscription I bought accidentally. I mistook a yearly subscription for a monthly subscription and when I went to place a refund under the claim of accidental purchase it was simply unavailable. So now I have a year long subscription to a game I frankly don’t wish to commit that span of time towards. The all is good but there should be a bigger threshold in refund possibility.

I love chess.com and it is the best you can play random neoplasm and learn and play puzzles. It is just good.

Do you love the fried liver attack? Scholar’s mate? Players who abandon games when they’re lost? Players who refuse to make a move or resign and make you watch the clock run for 5 minutes because their daddy didn’t give them enough attention? Then boy do I have the app for you! Come play the worst players on the planet who thrive on trying to annoy you more than they try to play a challenging match! And the best part - if you say anything the app developers will mute your account and do nothing to the actual offenders! They should charge money for this experience!
