    I use notability for everything!!!
  • Needs some better design

It would be nice if you could partially zoom out when in landscape mode on the iPhone. Plus, it only lets you see a small number of pen presets at a time on iPad. Finally, there’s no longer any way to hide the tool palate on the iPad when you’re working. Otherwise, I’m glad it allows for syncing, and the way pen works on iPad is good.
  • Buggy redesign

Ever since the unnecessary redesign of this app, I have experienced constant crashes, note pages breaking, and so many more bugs. It’s ridiculous this can’t ever use this app for an entire class period without it bugging. I’m a lifelong user over the last decade and I’m over this redesign. Features were taken away and accessibility was reduced.
  • They can’t figure out syncing

Great app that simply can’t win when you can’t sync. Syncing takes a very long time (I’m on blazing speed), and isn’t automatic enough. AND…they try to upsell you constantly, even if you’re a paying customer. So annoying.
  • Used to be good now it’s terrible

Notability used to be good but now it’s really buggy and they make you pay ACTUAL MONEY just to use it more. This made me late for three assignments. DO NOT GET IT
  • Export Transcript

I use the transcription service almost every time I use notability. However, now that I’m using it, I really would like to have the ability to export the entire transcript. With the many AI services available, having the ability to have the transcript summarized who be immensely helpful. If Notability does not introduce this feature, you may lose me to a service that does.

I don't understand why they put two separate bars, and the reverse button is so far away. It is not convinent at all. Also, who uses the pencil options? Can we remove that and only use pen and highlighter? Disappointed

Crashing when using the scribble to text. Unable to change font because it frozes and crashes every time

This app is wonderful to have access to the same content from your phone to your iPad and Mac (laptop/desktop). The ability to have dividers (drop down named subjects) and subjects that group the notes, creating a system is relatively simple. The view on your phone/iPad/macbook will differ a little as the phone has a smaller screen and will initially show you "all notes" and you must click the three lines to get to your system. I kinda like having that easy access to where the favorites are thought. IMPROVEMENT SUGGESTION: on the iPad, you have to first click "Notes" to get to the options of all notes/recents/favorites/unfiled. Since most people will interact with "favorites" and "most recent" the most, would be great to have the option to put those categories under the search bar where you will only find "Notes" and "Gallery". Or a way to have Favorites be under the subjects??
