Disgusted at how much advertisement you have to endure just to see and listen too what you intend to. Update 2024 I am forced to click past advertisements to get to my audiobook library. Not exactly what I would prefer. When I open books it has never been to search and purchase something but I do want to listen to an audiobook that I do already have.

Your theme is no longer saved and you now must update the theme to your desired setting every time you open the app.

Can be used to read some EPUB I have, but not some others.

It’s great until you pull it out on your transatlantic flight and none of your downloaded books are there. They’ve all been deleted for no reason.

The books app used to have built in dictionaries; now you get links to 3rd party websites with ads. That was a poor “improvement,” revert back to how it was!!

I have been using it for several days and I haven’t had any problems yet. The color themes and fonts are very pleasing. The control and dictionary is good.

I was going to switch from the Kindle, but this app is just nowhere near as good. It crashes regularly. It’s impossible to skim quickly through pages. Highlighting across pages is seemingly impossible. The list pages don’t have useful filters. And so on.

Ever sine the last iOS upgrade, I have to delete and re-download app daily to play my audiobooks.

They brought back the skeuomorph page turn animations. They were the best part of the app and now they're back and it's great again!

This app was redesigned and it’s not very difficult to find or previous books you downloaded and bought somewhere else or PDF files. Waste of time. If you think hiding my stuff and not letting me read what I want is going to encourage me to buy stuff through this app is wrong more likely I will just abandon it completely and download another 3 rd party app that is flexible.
