I appreciate the idea. I’m amazed this the only company that has managed to sort of corner this market. That being said, I don’t like their app. Perhaps it’s user error but I find it difficult I find things I want and it’s always taking me to far off lands when I search for meetups in my area.

For some reason, it says my profile isn’t complete even though I’ve filled everything out and added everything it’s prompted me to multiple times. It’s kind of annoying because I’d like to see if the people I’m going to meetup with at events even have anything in common with me.

I have met so many people since I signed up for Meetup!!! This is the best way to find your community and to make new friends in your area!!

I’m unable to direct message through the app or on the desktop site! Fix now!

Threaded comments are broken in the app. You have to go to the mobile website to properly view them. It’s been like this for months. Please fix!

Laura Fessenden is moody and becomes angered easily. She will remove people’s names from the group or event if she is having one of her spells. I had offered to host our New Year’s Eve event and we both agreed the event would be hosted at my home. I have already purchased: non perishable food items, six bottles of champagne, champagne toasting flutes, two different sized plates and napkins, plastic cutlery and serve ware. Party hats, noise makers, balloons. Games and more. She became upset one night after having a few too many drinks then canceled me as the hostess. Then selected her home as the site for the party Is there any recourse? In addition to her moving me from hosting and attending to not hosting and not attending.I did not authorize these changes. It also appears as if she has shut off my ability to send and receive messages. This change that was made has affected all of my groups and I did not authorize it and I’m unable to fix it to resolve it in settings. We had had several members complain about her rude behavior prior to the pandemic.What type of assistance do you provide during these types of situations? For an app that is x years old and has millions of downloads, it’s quite surprising that the company has a hard time hiring competent UX people. You update your profile and then it resets, navigation is clunky, you have to correctly insert or type social media links instead of it auto formatting it for you, the chat feature doesn’t work in real time, the more groups you join, the more cluttered your notification tray regardless if there has been absolutely no interaction with that group in a long time. Hate the app and wouldn’t recommend it. Only use it because some of the groups I’m a part of use the app.

Add options to filter events for certain dates. This is one of the most glitchy apps I’ve ever used. I click on a group it never loads go back to the pervious page and it loads nothing and gives an error.

It keeps saying I need to add a profile pic to join groups. I added the picture multiple times & it still keeps saying that.

Can’t change interest from past. extreme amount of garbage and hiking groups pretty much play pickle ball
