I have all notifications turned off. Constantly get double notified about messages and still get advertisements. If they fix it I’ll update my review.

GROWLr used to be great many years ago, but ever since it was sold it has become nothing but an endless cesspool of fake profiles from scammers, porn sites, and nation state actors from countries like China, who use fake VoIP phone numbers and try to get you to communicate on outside apps like WhatsApp. No matter how many profiles you report they just keep coming. I start to question just how many real people are left on the platform anymore.

App is fair not very robust limited features. Search worthless… Definitely not worth paying for.

ok app but too many bot profiles. whats stranger, the bots initiate conversations...just block them.

Because I recorded a video sitting in the shower where all you could see is my face and my chest and you’re going to ban me. This is total ridiculous and unacceptable being targeted by certain bears who have an issue I am just a loving bear and this is how I’m treated by this bear. Click.

This App was an awesome place to meet new friends and since the streaming feature I have made great friends and sweet memories off of it. But due to third party pettiness GROWLR has banned my clean account. I have never posted or live streamed anything against the rules but due to bots and immature users I lost my second home.

Pictureless profiles. They shouldn’t be allowed to join without a picture.

Haven’t been on in years. Now trying to create a new account and this is what I get. “We are sorry, based on the provided information, you may not use growler at this time.” I’ve tried using a different email, tried registering with multiple different passwords and yes my birthdate is old enuf to be on this app.. WTAF Growlr?
