all the stories by this developer are interesting, well illustrated, and the interactives are just fabulous. the reading is at just the right pace, the voices are clear and well done. my first grade class can't get enough of these stories. excellent options, and the sexism inherent in fairy tales is mitigated a bit.
Way too short

Entirely too short for the $4.99 price tag!! There are many other books longer than this, cheaper than this! Highly disappointing, I wouldn't recommend at this price, especially given the fact they're asking $4.99 for every story and they are very short. Even the interactions are lacking
Surprisingly good

My 6 and 3 y/o granddaughters love it. Watched it with them 4 times and they want more. I like 3D effect and how it interacts with them. It is. A decent learning tool. I was put off by the price - higher than any other kid book I've bought - but I feel it worth the price. I've bought 3 other of this company's books since.

My 5 1/2 year old enjoyed this book. The graphics were great and the story detailed enough to maintain her attention. It is very similar to the other Grimm versions we have in our books here at home. There was a nice balance of regular pages to pop-up pages. The pop-up pages were fun, varied and related to the story (sort the gems, make a disguise for the queen etc.) with the focus remaining on the story rather than just a game. I like the app and would occasionally (only occasionally because they are $4.99) buy other apps in this line.

This app is great! The story of Snow White is familiar, modified only slightly by the author. The interactive pages are great for pre-k aged kids and up- includes a page with sorting, completion of a snowman and a disguise for the queen, and a music-making page among others. I have several of these 3-D pop up books and this one is my new favorite. Thank you for making this terrific app free!!!
