  • Filtering workouts

The app is mostly good. I have 100+ workouts built and there is no way to filter trough them or search for a built workout. It would be great to be able to search for a workout by title or the very least filter by activity.
  • What a mistake to update the app - 10+ year customer

I have been a customer of various gen Garmin watches and other products. Before the latest update the app layout was very neat, concise, user friendly and get to the metrics very fast and easily. The new layout is more cylindrical and waste of space, then all the default metrics and dripped. And even if you add these to the app default you’ll still have to scroll quite a bit. Called the customer service ((800) 800-1020 ) and the rep was also quite unhelpful. Hence decided to remove this app altogether. The next is to look alternate competitive products from different manufacturers.
  • Too much of a good thing?

Whoever decided a change was required, the latest update is horrible. It synchs with my Instinct and I can see data on my calendar but main display has no information except current heart rate.
  • Upgrade is awful

The app used to be perfect, the upgrade made it awful. What I used to be able to see at a glance now requires scrolling and menu selections. Looks like it was designed to be used on a desktop, I hope people get fired for this.
  • Connection issues

That app is great and I like the new layout and features since the latest update. However, there is an issue since the latest update where my Forerunner 45 is connected, but also isn’t connected. I receive alerts on my watch for calls and messages, but when I open the app, it says my device isn’t connected. Maybe a bug?
  • Updates are supposed to make things better, not worse

Since this most recent update, my watch is hit or miss in connecting. The only help they offer is things I already know since Iva had it for more than a year (yes, I know that Bluetooth has to be turned on in my iOS settings; I’m not a idiot). If they wanted to be helpful, they would have added a button to force it to connect!

At first was good, but after some updates is useless.

Why run a beta test of an app and not listen to the feedback!?!?!? Horrible update from a usability standpoint.
  • Wow, what happened

From a data-packed, fitness-tracking dashboard to, well, average. Apple’ fitness app is catching up, albeit not by their own design …
