Game crashed at boot on my MacBook Air Sanoma v14.4

cant' even open the game. It crashes immediately. I have a Mac.

Since this is a warning about the gam not booting, I will list my mac so other customers with similar stats can be warned of a possible problem. Im running macOS Monterey Version 12.3 on a 2020 M1 Mac Mini Chip Apple M1 Memory 16 GB SSD 256 GB I like Big Fish Games and have been a fan of them for years. I purchased the full version of this game when I saw it. Sadly I found that it wont even load. When I click the icon to launch the game, it crashes imediately. I thought that perhaps this game was only stable with older macs, or older versions of the Mac OS. But on looking over the App Store product page, I noticed that no minimum system requirements are listed at all. I will be asking for a refund and hoping that Big Fish hammers the bugs out of it. I know from pase experiance that these tend to be great games.

Used to play this all the time buy now it just crashes each time I want to open it. Just bought a new Mac this week. Re-downloaded the game and it still crashes. What's up?

I give 1 star because is not possible to give less. hint are inexistent. long and boring. no way.

I cannot open the game at all

My wife and I have been fans of the Big Fish style HO games for years, with Mystery Case Files a reliable selectiom. Shadow Lake is a real standout. The story behind the game is relatively nuanced. This was not a cookie-cutter game by any means! The live action stuff isn't just 'blah, blah blah' - it's well scripted, well-done, and delightfully cast, and contributes a lot to the unusually engaging quality of this game. The characters in this story bloom compared to most of the genre, and really do develop... character which contributes to your imvolvement in the game and its story. Tough puzzles, a large playscape, but the go-here, go-there, go-back-and-get-that-then-come-back stuff, as pioneered long ago in Zork ("Adventure") in text, never seemed senseless. Many of the puzzles seemed to us to require both our minds: it was especially good for two players together. Running Catalina, never had a glitch or a ripple in the program. Fine work!

Well written, great cast, and all around fun.

I like the game and now i had to start over because the game is freezing this will be my sceond time starting over it has bugs you need to fix people shouldnt have to buy a game that has bugs in it
