Love the game but I wish there was controller support

The game is very solid and I have a couple of tips to make it even better. I beat the game very quickly and then played endless mode until I unlocked everything and completed all achievements. Unfortunately, I was able to do this too quickly and too easily. More thoughtful achievements would give players more reason to continue playing after unlocking all items. It would also encourage different builds than some of the more obvious broken builds that I won’t spoil here. Maybe add more levels of difficulty that make it harder to find optimal builds by making coins more scarce or put less items in the shop so it’s not so easy to get any build you want. And finally, the words were hard to read, so find some way to improve the item text with brightness or size. Enjoy the game everyone!

Very underrated. Reminds me of clover pit. Great time sink if you have a long flight.

This is a fun little roguelike. The mechanics and the art design work well. The problem is you can hit the ceiling on what you can do in this game in a couple of hours. That means completing the main story and collecting all of the modules for your slot machine. Also there are dice rolling. I see nothing in the tutorial about what they are for.

The text in the game is so small and low-contrast that it’s unreadable on iPhone, which makes the game unplayable and a waste of money.

I saw another review mention Balatro and the video trailer got me intrigued. I just went all in and bought it and it is FUN. The way I started playing the game is not hy any means how I prefer to play it now, and the satisfaction you get from the slots and ultra long combos is NICE. My only complaint is the game is too short! Just being selfish and complaining I want more!!!! More perks to unlock and level up, more items and weapons to roll, more campaign levels, and more crazy weird arena levels! Overall love the game and strongly recommend it!

Very fun roguelite with great sounds, visuals, and strategy. However sometimes the next stage would be different (one or two ahead, or a previous one) with adjusted stats to match the current level of my items. Additionally, some items (like the skull skill check) wouldn’t work properly and do its critical effect. I’m also not sure on the accumulation of chips (meta progression currency) it feels like Im not making much metagame process despite having a breakthrough run and essentially doubling my high score. I’m hopeful for the future, however.

First off, this game is fantastic. I love it. Scratches the gameplay loop itch. HOWEVER, please do something about the size of the text in that stupid little box to the right. It seems to me like there’s a lot of empty space around main interface and controls, where a zoom and some adjustment of that window size could go a long way. The colors also make it hard to see things. I’m on a Pro Max screen, and I can’t imagine playing on a regular iPhone.

Tried to play it a couple of times but the text is simply unreadable, with the tiny font, super pixelated letters, and terrible contrast. It’s too bad because the game looks like it might be fun, but it’s just too much work to try to read what each thing does. And half the screen is taken up with decoration so it didn’t have to be this tiny. Give us an option to fix any of those things — different font, larger size, anything, and it would be playable.

I know this game can be very fun and addictive, but I can’t get past the tutorial boss due to the game freezing / crashing. I am on an iPhone 16 Pro Max, playing on the lowest possible settings with just about everything extra like vibration and camera shake turned off and the game always freezes after I stop my 3rd spin. The audio is still playing but my screen is completely frozen and it does not respond to taps. I am forced to close the app and reopen it to an entirely fresh run with nothing saved. I am able to recreate this on every single run without fail. Again, I know how awesome this game can be and I just want to be able to experience it for myself. I’m pretty bummed about this but I’m hopeful there will be an update soon as I bought the game the day I am writing this review.
