Definitely not worth the money. Bat speed is nice to have, and swing path metrics are kind of neat, but not all that helpful. You would think the sensor you pay for would work without a subscription on top of it, but of course it doesn’t.

Is a very great app that helps baseball players. It helps with your swing and to get your swing better. It also has drills that help you on it. It is a very great app for baseball kids that are trying to fix their swing.

I’m 14 and is easy to navigate

The Blast Motion system itself is okay and provides some useful data for tracking baseball swing metrics. However, the app experience is disappointing and really holds the product back. The app is not intuitive, can be frustrating to navigate, and doesn’t feel as polished or user-friendly as it should be for a product at this price point. Getting useful information from the data should be simple, but the app makes it more complicated than necessary.

Very helpful feedback

Overall the app functions as I expected. It provides the detail and context for gathering the data to make tweaks to a swing, but ultimately see progress.

Today’s players tend to rely on tech, metrics and screens to learn. The Blast motion enables a coach from the “feel” era to relate their “feels” into realtime data for today’s tech savvy players. With the swing metrics tee work can be taken to a whole new level. The metrics make tee work interesting for the player which is invaluable as a coach. As a former 10 year pro player I highly recommend the Blast Motion.

Has been a great tool so show my son things we are taking about in his swing.

Love the data and feedback that the blast sensor provides. You gotta really commit to see the results!
