Grateful for the ppl I have met but tik tok only pushes out the content they want

Please stop removing my repost button. Even when I update the app it’s still not there it just comes and goes.

Part #1 I found TikTok way back in February 2021 while recovering from long haulers Covid symptoms. At first tiktok entertained me, I watched talented artists, comedians & performers. Then smart TikTok creators taught me, and legit medical professionals educated & supported me. I became a moderator early on & learned the ways of the platform. TikTok news & political algorithms bring me world events content, keep me up-to-date on all matters that effect our country & share new important creators. Through it all I have met some outstanding folks & developed some amazingly real friendships. It’s the best social media platform out there — better than all the rest. And the LIVES & duets create one of a kind communication communities that expand all of our lives in the best possible ways. UPDATED part 2 review: However, today TikTok has its issues & allowing the dark side of the algorithms to continue is becoming a legitimate concern. There absolutely is some very questionable content allowed, & judgement calls on TikTok’s part - misinformation, propaganda & human rights abuses are becoming much too common place. Dangerous trends are emerging such as the ones referencing to “off women” in dating scenarios & this is tragic. TikTok needs to go better. This is my edited & updated review 3/26/22. As of May 2022 I was involved in supporting democratic candidates all over the United States for the midterms through my voice & participation on tik tok. I donated, moderated, commented, boosted & made last relationships with so many candidates & good ppl all over the US. Now, and as of Sept 22, I’m still recovering from my long Covid symptoms, and also recovering from major right shoulder reconstruction surgery & tik tok gives me access to world events, news, politics, keeps me up to date on new medical information, nutrition & just friendly conversation. We are United as a party to end hate & bigotry & support women ALL OVER THE WORLD! Glad to be on the clock app.

Respectfully, SELL THE DANG APP. You NEED new owners. This app will be banned in the united states if you don’t get new owners and millions of tiktok users will be gone just like that. Many people whos life and job is content creating will be out of jobs just because of you not selling.

I like TikTok but I think they are a little harsh with there guidelines.We are grown adults on this app just saying.
