    This App is an awesome tool that helps to connect nannies with families, especially within the same or surrounding neighborhoods. I’ve been doing nanny work for the last 20 years and was introduced to Sittercity by a friend at church in 2010. I have met at least three wonderful families through Sittercity and worked short term for two of them, long term for one. All awesome families. I would certainly recommend it to qualified nannies and to the families who need their services.

  • Used to be good now it’s all Agency positing

    Every job listing now is an agency telling you to use them. I think i’m applying for a real job and then it says at the end“don’t apply here sign up on ——-.com” like why are there no real job postings anymore? i used to find all my nanny jobs through sittercity and now i can find anything because of all the fake listings.

  • Don’t bother

    I went through the whole setup wrote paragraphs and finally posted my job only for it to say you need to upgrade to premium to message whoever applies. The subscription is expensive too. We barely have money for childcare and they’re charging an arm and a leg to post a job for childcare. Ridiculous

  • Impossible to work with

    I been trying to use this app for over a week. This app not only made me have days going back and forth with customer service for help with verification and account problems, But even made me paid and refused to offer refund Even after they said they were because that was the only way to resolve my account problem. I have emails for proof. Even after my background check being clear with checkn and email received from sittercity saying my account should be working it is infact not. I still can’t pick up jobs and having the same issues again and again and not only they still refuse the refund the app tells me to PAY again for the background check.

    2 of My complaints is that they use a lot of nanny service company’s.. which you would have to make a whole new application.. not through the person directly that you have to fill out all these applications. And when I go to inbox the job you can’t see the post it self you can only see name of person you messaged. So it’s hard to see what job u applied for exactly.. u can’t get to the job you applied for through the person your messaging it’s really terrible I hope they fix this

    It doesn’t refresh so you can seek other job opportunities that’s posted everyday. If you get this app today the same jobs will be there next month no update. It doesn’t send people to your application because they just want all your personal information like a scam and fraud app for identity theft. DONT DOWNLOAD
