*** APPLE DESIGN AWARD WINNER 2017 *** Meet the all-new Things! A complete rethinking of the original, award-winning task manager – with a perfect balance between simplicity and power, incredible new features, delightful interactions, and a timeless new design. HERE'S HOW THINGS WORKS If you're new to Things, this is the basic workflow: 1. Collect Your Thoughts Get things off your mind quickly with Things’ action extension – it lets you create to-dos from other apps. Or just talk to Siri on any device (“Remind me to...”) and import from Reminders. 2. Get Organized Create a project for each of your goals, then add the steps to reach them. For clarity, add structure with headings. Then group your projects by areas of responsibility, such as “Family”, “Work”, or “Health”. Review these regularly to stay on top of things. 3. Plan Your Time See your calendar events alongside your to-dos and plan your time effectively. Create repeating to-dos for things you do every few days, weeks, or months – Things will remind you on the right day. 4. Make the Most of Your Day Every morning, grab a coffee and prepare your list for “Today”: review previously planned to-dos and make quick decisions on what to tackle. Pick some more steps from your projects and then get going. The Today list is the only place you’ll need to look for the rest of the day. 5. Customize Your Workflow Use tags to categorize your to-dos or add context. For example, tag places like “Office” or “Home”, or tag all your “Errands”, or everything you’re working on with “Kate”. You can easily find everything you’ve tagged via filtering or search. HERE'S WHY WE THINK YOU'LL LOVE THINGS 1. It stays out of your way. As you start using Things, you’ll quickly notice how seamlessly all the features fit together to give you an uncluttered, focused experience. There are no unnecessary frills. No pointless gimmicks or useless controls. In fact, you’ll hardly notice the app – it’s just you and your to-dos. 2. Everything revolves around your to-dos. In Things, each of your to-dos are special. In a list, they simply show a checkbox and the title of your to-do. But when you open them, they extend into a beautiful white piece of paper that’s ready to hold your thoughts. Additional details (checklists, tags, reminders, deadline) are nicely tucked away in the corner until you need them. 3. It’s got a touch of magic. Things removes friction in magical ways. Take the new Magic Plus Button that lets you insert to-dos at any place in a list – simply via drag and drop. Or the ease at which you can multi-select and operate on many to-dos at once. Or the natural language date parser: just type “tomorrow”, “in 4 days", or “next Wednesday", and it will jump to all the right conclusions. 4. It’s got all the power of iOS. Things is fully integrated with all the latest iOS technologies: Apple Watch, Calendars, Siri & Reminders, Today Widget, Quick Actions, Action Extension, Handoff, and Notifications. 5. And much more... Everyone's got their favorite feature, it's impossible to list them all. See what our users love about Things – visit our website at: WHAT’S NEW? Great app but I hate having to use their cloud service.
  • Like the app, but where’s the features?

    By c_theprofessor
Like the simplicity and UI of the app but where are all the other features of other to do apps? Such as: - location based reminders - attaching photos to “to-do’s” - Collaboration with other people Again, I really want to like this app but there are other apps that have these features which seem like they should be basic features. Hopefully they can be added at some point cause the app has a great foundation to build upon!
  • Best app I’ve seen for managing tasks

Simple, yet dynamic with all the tools needed
  • Post Purchase Rationalization or Nah

I can’t quite determine if I like this app so much because I paid $9 for it but holy crap I feel sooo much more organized. I don’t even really write app review. Things has caressed my soul.
  • Great app but so slow!!!!!!!!

    By tjdew
I have been a committed user of things 3 on both macOS and iOS for over a year now. It seems that in the past 6 months the iOS app has gotten extremely slow upon opening the it on my iPhone X. It used to be instantaneous and now it takes so long to load my list of things and decide whether or not to be in dark mode. If this is fixed my rating will be back to 5 stars. I couldn’t live without the app!
  • Good. But for $10 its not enough.

I think this app can be the ultimate task manager it just needs more innovative features like priority selection and the ability to interact with other Things 3 user by creating groups and giving and receiving tasks, something similar to what Todoist allows its users to do. But overall the best UI and minimalism I've seen in a task manager and it does have some unique and nice features. I just think that for $10 it should have more. 👍🏻
  • Way overrated

Cannot change my calendar from this app . The iwatch app only shows today and not other info from someday, etc . For 9.99 I’m not impressed .
  • Beautiful app with critical flaw

    By TFuller
This is a beautifully-designed app. The inability to share/collaborate with another person is severely limiting.
  • Only One Day View on my Watch?!?!?

    By Zeusman
I took the plunge and paid the $9.99 for this app and immediately regretted my purchase. Wanted a to-do app that would sit in my complication area of my Apple Watch that Uses Siri to enter to-do’s. Che k, it does that but.....and a big sends the to-do to an “In Box” on the app on my iPhone. I did see that I change from In Box to Today but it’s not easy to switch between them on my phone as the lettering is tiny (smaller than other words and sitting just above the task-that’s too easy to tap). Then you have to go to your phone to move it to a day, and the app asks ‘are you sure you want to move this?’ Adding another few steps and time to a simple entry...that’s self defeating. Then I CANNOT see anything beyond the current day’s to-do’s on my phone....I find that very limiting. I need to be able to scroll down to at least a week’s worth of to-dos. So I can PLAN for those events before that day...not a far fetched idea. This app could be useful but at the moment( in my opinion) this app is better suited to the iPhone and NOT the Apple Watch. I wish I could get my money back on this one. Doesn’t do what I need or enough for the cost.

It is a great app and easy to use. I wish that the reminders could be used like the apple reminders. For example, I need to do since and such task every Monday and Friday for the next 6 months. I would also like to see a price drop on the iPad version, last time I checked $20 for the same app is a bit much. Still, this app is great for deconstructing projects to help them get executed properly.
