Hard to use. Unintuitive user interface. Lack of reasonable options. Can’t even adjust the mic volume so it doesn’t distort on initial recording. (This is not the same as adjusting the relative volumes of the tracks once recorded.) The name of the app is acappella, a music app, right? but there is no way to input a backing track without making it a video first. Too much hassle for me. If you want something quick and dirty, this is not it. I can work faster in my studio.

Worked fine before for small proj drafts. Now, there’s a noticeable delay after the 1st recording making the rest sound messy/out of rhythm

App works fine for me when recording with no headphones, but obviously that is only really realistic for the first recording if layering several different vocals or instruments. When I attempt to connect my Bluetooth headphones while the app is open, the app crashes. If I connect the headphones and THEN open the app and attempt to record, my app freezes for a few moments before giving me the message “Bluetooth may cause audio delays” which I cannot close. Then the app promptly crashes. In other words, it is completely unusable for my purposes.

Something is wrong it won’t record it always says error and I wonder why

I can’t hear anything when I tried to record without headphones. With headphones it won’t save the project. Weird bug or something

I have loved this app, but I am super frustrated that something I pay for yearly has no format to fit vertical apps like TikTok or Instagram Stories. This is an easy fix. Please make some simple vertical format templates.

I can’t record a video, it’s so bad, because after one video second video is slow

Do not understand why I should have to pay to record for 1 minute. And on top of that, the videos will freeze and completely screw up my recording. Have used this app for 3 years and it’s sadly gone downhill.

This app is the best. Making music come naturally, but recording does not (to me anyway) Acapella makes it so easy and I love it.

They should design an app that you pay for ONCE and get to keep forever, not pay a subscription for. SHAME on the developers!
