    I used Hiya for years on Android and it was great. Unfortunately the iOS version is entirely different. The only way - and I mean the ONLY way - this will block scammers and spammers is if you enable call screening. That’s where the app asks the caller if they’re a scammer, and if they prove their name, it lets the call through. Without that enabled, all you can do is manually paste numbers after they call. So despite having a premium subscription, there are no reputation-based filters available. Absolute trash. Save yourself the subscription fee.

    I like this app it blocks calls. But one problem is that it continues to ask up. Then you up date and 2 second later you get the same message. Needs a repair or a update.

    Seemed to help at first but then after a couple weeks I was back to getting at least 5-10 spam calls per day.

    Use to be a huge help. Now it’s broken. Sometimes even randomly blocks numbers in my contacts, shows months-old calls as brand new, won’t play back voicemails or transcribe them. Finally uninstalled and reinstalled… now app won’t even launch. Subscription. Cancelled.

    I’ve had Hiya for three years now. It was effective in the past, but for six months now it’s blocking known callers while allowing blocked numbers through. I don’t know what’s going on, but I canceled my subscription. My iPhone does better screening on its own.

    Personal line and Business line is NOT WHAT I AM PAYING FOR I got a scam attempt using iMessage to scam me claiming APPLE PURCHASE PROCEEDED a charge when I used lookup it showed personal line and no names! This app gave USED TO SHOW names with numbers! I never will respond to calls or text messages showing BUSINESS LINE OR PERSONAL LINE EVER BECAUSE IT IS NOT SAFE! There should be a BLOCK FOR THOSE EVEN WHEN CALLS STATED VERIFIED THAT IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH! I am also A FULL SUBSCRIBER SINCE 2010! 🔊Back when it was (white pages) and then (Hiya📢 I used on previous devices and when I changed ALL TO APPLE DEVICES I CONTINUED TO USE THIS APP! Live Voicemail on my phone doesn’t work well with this app. 2025 Emails I sent with screenshots I got inadequate responses and several months before they replied, since last year for some of the replies. Utterly unacceptable services from support department! Update I got a text from numbers Blocked and today I got a disturbing text to Unblock Hedge Funds from 201 and 213 area codes I reported the numbers to Federal level but I am disappointed because I am an ANNUAL FULL SUBSCRIBER! Blocking is weak again for text numbers! BLOCKING HISTORY REQUEST 2025 I just noticed the log count doesn’t include the TIME with Dates developers can this be improved for next version update please and thanks 🙏 7/4/25 BLOCKED CALLS ARE STILL COMING THROUGH PHONE CALLS WHY AM I PAYING FOR PREMIUM ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION?! 8/8/25 OMG I SAW A CO WORKER THAT I HAVE NOT SEEN IN 10 YEARS when I called her number my NAME WAS NOT SHOWN WHY?!
