  • Wish there was a ZERO stars

App freezes whenever I click on breaking news. Not my device—iPhone X with 246 GB storage and less than 15% used. In a word... pathetic. Not worthy of the venerable Sun paper.
  • Bad app

    By AAA
The app is terrible. Difficult to use and access articles. The videos only sometimes load and pictures at the top of articles are not visible. Please fix this especially because we pay to access these articles.
  • App freezes

Since I upgraded to an iPhone X the app freezes when opening a story about half the time. The only option is to close the app and come back later.
  • ???

How in the world is no one fixing this application? I, everyone I know, and most of these reviewers seem to experience the exact same issues; but Tribune or Tronc or whatever the company’s name is today cannot fix it? I am a paying subscriber as well; offer up some product for the dough.
  • Not a good app

    By Burt Sampson
My biggest issues: -forces user to leave app and directs content to browser. Why have an app if you are doing to make me just use my web browsers where I have to log in each time? -stops music playing from other apps -the latest news is never the latest news. The way the articles are sorted malfunctions. Half the time I see articles I’ve read days ago at the top of the latest news. Overall it’s a clumsy app with not enough content within it to justify its existence.
  • Does not work

    By Beerme27
I have downloaded the app multiple times. Why have a paid subscription to an app that does not load load articles?
  • Video plays and then you have to kill the app

    By User12460
After watching a video in the app on an ipad, there is no way to get back to other content. You can watch the video again, or you can kill the app and re-launch it to see other content.
  • App freezes

    By ccbri85
The stories do not load 75% of the time and the app freezes frequently. I always have to do a force close. It’s been doing it for way too long so I ended up just deleting it.
  • E-newspaper does stay signed in

    By yoemanrand
When I go to the e-newspaper menu item it does not keep my log in credentials and it does not save my view history.
  • Terrible support from the Baltimore Sun

    By flyskimmy
I purchased a subscription through the App Store, but for whatever reason the link between the App Store subscription and the Baltimore sun website doesn’t stay linked. Just to be clear reading in the app isn’t a problem, but linking the subscription so you can fully utilize the “digital all access” you’re paying for is not a smooth experience and the customer support reps are not helpful at getting it re-linked.
