I’ve signed up for those depression apps that cost money. I start strong and fade quick because it’s too much. I just need to track my mood and factors of my day that may be contributing to my mood to help me manage my depression symptoms better. But if I’m honest, I would never actually look over all my entries to understand what is happening. This FREE! app allows you to set up a customizable check list and then you hit yes or no next to each item on the list everyday. Example: Therapy Today? No Bed Rotting? No Worked Today? Yes Overwhelmed? Yes Irritable? Yes Slept Well? No Took My Meds? No Journaled Today? No Ate Junk Food? Yes Doom Scrolled? Yes It can send you reminders to use the app so you don’t forget. It saves this info on its own calendar and will track the data for you. Very helpful! Now I can see what contributes to the days when I spiral. If I don’t sleep well and forget my meds then my mood stuffers. If on top of that I don’t journal then I resort to junk food and doomscrolling all night and the cycle continues. Hope this helps.
